Is Lady Gaga a man? Rumor has it that Lady Gaga, the singer whose hits include “Poker Face”, and “Paparazzi”, has both male and female reproductive parts and she’s admitted to having both in the past. Loyal fans protest in outrage since the rumor sounds ridiculous. The rumor has labeled Lady Gaga as a “hermaphrodite”.

So what’s the real score? Lady Gaga wrote in her blog back in december 2008 that “It’s not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that i go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but i consider myself a female”. Also, she added candidly that “I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot”.

But in fact, Lady Gaga has been fighting wild and weird rumors like this one for some time now. The newest hearsay was actually sparked, after a picture of singer managed to find its way on to the Internet. The photo image in question was reportedly taken from a video footage of the singer performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. It reportedly showcased her on stage with a short red dress and a bulging between her legs that shouldn’t be there if she was entirely female.

Even if the rumor seems to be far from the truth, what’s next? Lady Gaga’s manager insisted that the rumor are just lies, intended to ruin the singer’s blossoming career. Sure, Lady Gaga has that bit of an eccentric side but the story seems totally absurd. While physical surgeries deem the possibilities of operating in tons of unlikely ways, say butt augmentations for instance and the like, it’s all depends on what the real character Lady Gaga seems to portray, even in real life.

The singer’s manager has insisted that the rumor and speculation are so untrue,the story seems to keep on ablaze especially in most entertainment news and forums. But for Lady Gaga’s fans, they just don’t care. As long as the singer dishes great, danceable music, who cares if she really have both female and male genitalia. Right?
