Kate Bosworth is looking to appeal in the Oscar radars as she had agreed to take on the lead role in the upcoming film “Lost Girls and Love Hotels” by talented director Jean-Marc Vallee. An adaptation to Catherine Hanrahan’s 2006 novel, the film would feature a woman in her twenties who runs to Tokyo to escape from her past and spend her days wisely teaching conversational English to airline crews whilst immersing in a night life of sex and drugs. However her like takes on a complete turn toward redemption as she heads out in search of a missing Western girl.
Previoulsy many may remember Bosworth’s appearance in the films “21” and “Superman Returns”, however these mixed roles have not struck a chord in the Oscars committee. Director Vallee who’s famous for his work “The Young Victoria” which garnered praise for his lead star Emily Blunt may be Bosworth’s ray of hope to deliver a role worthy of an Oscar.
