Patrick Dempsey takes a break from his surgeries in the hospital as he signs on a role in an untitled bank heist comedy for Foresight Unlimited. In the film, Dempsey finds himself caught in the middle of two different robberies at the same bank while trying to protect the bank teller he’s secretly in love with.
Scribes behind the hit comedy “The Hangover”, Jon Lucas and Scott Moore are the brains behind the screenplay. Paul McGuigan is tasked to direct while Dempsey, Peter Safran, and Mark Damon will take care of production. Filming is slated to begin in April.
Dempsey’s last appearance on the big screen was in 2008 with “Made of Honor”. His next movie would be the ensemble comedy “Valentine’s Day” helmed by director Garry Marshall under Warner Bros which is due to release on February 2010.
