Young Hollywood stars from hits “Gossip Girl”, “90210”, “Heroes”, “High School Musical”, and “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” take some time off from their busy schedules to team up for a cause. The campaign is led by “New Moon” superstars Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, and Kellan Lutz together with “Gossip Girl” stars Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Jessica Szohr; Hayden Panettiere of “Heroes”; Corbin Bleu of “High School Musical”; John Cho and Tristan Wilds of “90210” and many other primetime stars.
Sponsored by the advocacy group ONE, the “Coming Together as ONE” campaign aims to fight global poverty and AIDS. Emmy-winning director Jesse Dylan famous for his “Yes We Can” campaign for President Barrack Obama is responsible for the “Coming Together as ONE” campaign which debuted on the eve of World AIDS Day. When the campaign hit primetime on “Gossip Girl”, the target audience of influential and motivated young people was reached.
Ashley Greene states, “In the last election, and over the course of history, young people have shown that when we get organized and committed, we are powerful.
