“Twilight” star Ashley Greene takes a refresher from vampire and werewolves as she prepares to encounter a different kind of supernatural creatures.
The 22-year-old Lee Strasberg Institute-trained actress is in negotiations for a role in producer Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment feature “The Apparition”. The supernatural suspense thriller, inspired by real-life events, focuses on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence released during a college experiment. First-time director Todd Lincoln will do double duty as the writer and director of the screenplay he originally developed with Silver Pictures/Dark Castle executive Alex Heineman and Daniel Alter. Production is scheduled to begin in February 1 of next year.
No news yet on who would probably star alongside Greene in the film.
Set to appear in the “Twilight” franchise, Greene has established her presence in the standout cast as hottie hero Edward Cullen’s adopted sister, Alice. Greene will be appearing in four other films set for release this year including straight-to-DVD horror flick “Summer’s Blood” on November 10 and revive the teenage hysteria with “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” opening on November 20. She’s also set to star opposite co-actor Kellan Lutz of “Twilight” in the upcoming drama “Warrior”.
Greene is repped by Innovative Artists and McKeon-Myones Entertainment.
